Standing Committees

All committees are appointed by the President and consist of a chairperson and Regular, Associate and Honorary member volunteers. At each annual conference, NPECA members are invited to volunteer for participation on desired committees. The standing committees for 2010-2011 are listed below:
ADVISORY, NOMINATING & ELECTIONS: Acts in an advisory capacity to the President. Consists of regular members only. The immediate Past President as Chairman, and three other Members.	Trudy Eddington-- Chairperson Rob Saunders Pam Green John D. Maxey Wanda Stevens
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS: Liaison with Associate member firms.	Rhonda Buras -- Chairperson
AUDIT: Conducts an annual review of the financial records of the association.	Dennis Moon -- Chairperson Thomas Savoy Thomas White
BULLETIN: Publishes and mails the National Petroleum Energy Credit News at least semi-annually.	Mark Macha – Chairperson Trudy Eddington Samuel Tietjen
BYLAWS: Receives all proposals for amendments to the Bylaws, drafts proposed amendments and, upon approval by the President, arranges the notice of proposed amendments through the Secretary’s office.	Dane Williams -- Chairperson Rhonda R. Buras Mark Macha
CONFERENCE SITE SELECTION: Subject to Board approval selects and designates the calendar dates, geographical locations and meeting sites for the annual conferences and special meetings of the NPECA. EDUCATION: Administers the NPECA's annual College Scholarship Program and coordinates with the National Association of Credit Management (NACM) for continuing education credits. MEMBERSHIP: Solicits membership in the NPECA with full authority to accept or reject applications. Membership Committee consists of a Chairperson appointed by the President to represent the Members at the Board of Directors meetings. PLAQUES & CERTIFICATES: Provides a plaque for presentation to each outgoing President at the annual conference. This committee also provides certificates of membership to new members as well as special plaques and certificates of recognition as approved by the Board of Directors. PROGRAM: Plans and arranges the annual conference which focuses primarily on educational topics relevant to the petroleum and energy industry and works with the Secretary and Treasurer to promote attendance. PROGRAM-RETAIL: Plans and arranges the Retail program for the annual conference working in conjunction with the Program Committee.	Mike Swillo -- Chairperson Angela Burker Dan Christian Jim McCormick
SPECIAL PROJECTS: Responsible for promoting the association, the prestige of this corporation and the advancement of the credit profession. Committee will submit proposed projects to the Board of Directors for review and presentation to members to members at the annual or special meetings for their vote.
